El Sombrero at Fine Arts University
From la Casa Encendida we extend our programmes through an exchange alliance with the Fine Arts University. So that we started a new relationship with the University, not from the curricular adaptation, but from the exchange and the coexistence.
The exchange programme with Fine Arts University is framed within the Association Alliance with the Investigation group of the UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Art to the Society Service, coordinated by José Luís Guitierrez, Director of the Sculpture Department of Fine Arts University.
According to this collaboration, users from the Sombrero participate at the workshops and students from Fine Art University join the programmes progressively. A different dialogue is initiated from an experimental format and is purely communicational.
At present, 3 creators and 3 professionals from Debajo del Sombrero and 1 educator from their centre, attend the workshop every Thursday morning.
