


Within the framework of the programme GRUNDIVIGT VISITS AND EXCHANGE, we collaborate with GAIA museum from Denmark.
The exchange is focused on the definition of a new professional profile: the person with an artistic career that works together with artists with intellectual disabilities in the development of their creative process.

2x2 Forum for European Outsider Art 2011

From the 6th to the 9th of October 2011, 2x2 Forum is held Artists, art lovers, gallery owners and curators are gathering for four days at the Kunsthaus to enter a dialogue and to exchange their ideas. Various lectures will focus on the work and practice of disabled or mentally ill artists and give an overview of Outsider Art from all over Europe.
Debajo del Sombrero will take part in the Ranchito Project
The artists: Belén Sanchez, Miguel Angel, Alfonso will work from October to December in the space of Matadero within the project of Ranchito. El Ranchito is a participatory project of investigation and experimentation in Matadero, Madrid. This programme is financed by Fundación Vodafone and Fundación Once.
The Museum of Everything Exhibition #4

The Museum of Everything will travel to the London-based department store Selfridges where Exhibition #4 will occupy the large display windows along Oxford Street and Orchard Street and a space extending over 15,000 square feet with more than two hundred drawings, paintings and sculptures by international contemporary artists.
In this context works created by Jose Manual Egea and Miguel Angel Hernandez are exhibited from the 2nd of September until the 25th of October.
